Tuition Assistance Program

Recently passed legislation, P.L. 106-58, Sec. 643, permits Federal agencies to assist lower income Federal employees with child care tuition costs.

If you meet the Departments eligibility criteria, your child care tuition costs might be REDUCED!

The Tuition Assistance Program applies to employees whose children are between the ages of birth and 13, or disabled and under age 18, and are enrolled, or will be enrolled, in family child care homes or center-based child care. The child care must be licensed and/or regulated by State and/or local authorities.

If you are interested in finding out more about the program, act quickly since the law expires on September 30, 2000.
